Lofting Beds

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are not accepting loft requests for the 2009-2010 academic year.

A loft will lift your bed about 5 feet off the ground. Students usually use the space to put a desk or sofa underneath. Personnel from Housing will loft your bed.

The cost is $75 for the year and loft beds are available in York River Hall, Santoro Hall, Potomac River Hall, the James River Hall Suites and Warwick Suites.

There are a limited number of lofting beds available.  For this reason, the Office of University Housing provides lofts on first come first serve basis.  If you would like to request a loft, please download, complete and submit a Loft Request Form.  Students are not permitted bring or build their own loft.
