Loft kits are limited and are available to students living in York River Hall, Santoro Hall, James River Hall, Potomac River Hall and Warwick Suites. There can be only one loft per room unless we have more lofts than requests or the room is assigned as a triple room. Triple rooms will have one loft and one bunk bed.

Other Room Personalization Tips:

• Nails, screws, thumbtacks or other fastening hardware may NOT be used.
• Double-sided tape and adhesive tape are available at the CNU Bookstore, or from local merchants. (although Double-sided tape and adhesive tape are allowed, students are still liable for any damage that pulling the tape up causes).
• Do not use double-sided tape on wall over sink, since it will peel off the sheet rock when removed.
• Painting is not permitted.
• Paper borders may be used to accent room, but must be attached with putty or tape.
• You may stack your dressers, creating extra floor space.
• Consider use of plants, dark fabrics, throw pillows, and matching bed linen to make room attractive.
• Please note: University furnishings may not be removed from the room.
