Housing Deposit: $ 100 Mandatory Deposit – Deposit must be submitted along with Contract Acceptance form to receive a room assignment on campus. The $100 will be applied against the Housing cost for the first semester the student is applying for. Deposits are non-refundable unless the University is unable to house the student or their admission has been denied.
Room & Board Fees: $4,050.00/semester ($ 2,750 Room & $ 1,300 Board)
Residence Halls: Freshmen are typically assigned rooms in Santoro Hall, York River Hall or Potomac River Hall

19-Meal Plan Cost Per Semester: $1,300 (includes $30 in Dining Points* & 3 Meal Exchanges**)
This plan features breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday-Friday and brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday at The Commons dining facility or Regatta’s dining facility, which serves lunch Monday-Friday, and dinner Monday-Thursday. Ideal for those students who plan to spend most of their time on campus. Recommended for freshmen and those with hearty appetites.
14-Meal Plan Cost Per Semester: $1,300 (includes $90 in Dining Points* & 2 Meal Exchanges**)
This plan provides for any 14 meals (of the total 19 weekly) at The Commons & Regatta’s dining facilities. Available to all students.
*Dining Points may be used at any CNU dining facility (Discovery Café, Captain’s,The Commons or Regatta’s) and can be applied to food purchases only. Dining points are allocated on a per semester basis.
**Meal Exchanges, allocated on a per week basis, enable a participant to exchange meals at another campus location than the designated residential dining facility.
Flex Points: Can be purchased at Orientation sessions or at any time during the year at the Cashier’s office. Anyone can purchase any amount of flex points to be placed on their Captain’s Card. Flex Points entitle participants the ability to purchase goods and services from the following locations on campus: Bookstore, All Dining Facilities, Vending machines, Copiers, Washer/Dryer facilities, Health and Wellness Services, CNU Village Restaurants, and Parking Services.
